The Future of the OHF In the Spring of 2003, with generous support from the OHF, Mayo Foundation opened a clinical and research center to study Oxalosis and PH at the esteemed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. The Mayo Clinic Hyperoxaluria Center is a focal point of research, education and patient care. Through the joint efforts of the OHF and Mayo Clinic Hyperoxaluria Center, an NIH sponsored international registry for patients with PH is now housed at Mayo Clinic. Research is the best hope of finding a permanent cure for Oxalosis and PH. It is the goal of the OHF to fund grants that will increase our understanding of Oxalosis, PH and related stone diseases so that clinical management and treatment will improve. We are searching for new methods of treatment that will allow a cure before complications develop thus eliminating the need for transplantation therapy. Remember, your financial partnership with the OHF is a major step in taking us one step closer to finding better treatments and ultimately a cure. As programs continue to grow and develop, and new needs arise, your partnership as an OHF donor is vital. Please join the many supporters of the OHF who are determined to win the race against time to find a cure. Overview | Symptoms | Diagnosis | Treatment | Transplantation | Future of OHF |
