OHF RUN: Frog Creek 10-Mile Trail Run
On behalf of the OHF we wish to thank you for your support of the inaugural Frog Creek 10 Mile Run/Hike to benefit the OHF held on August 29, 2009 which raised over $2000 to advance life-saving research.
Early on a Saturday morning, a group of dedicated runners and hikers set out on a trek through the Sierra Nevada Mountains enjoying breath-taking views on a scenic route for the event.
A local musician, with kidney problems herself, came to the event and played music for hours. After the run, participants enjoyed a barbeque lunch, music and some kids’ races for little ones who did not make the 10-mile trek.
Your generous gift contributed greatly to the success of this event. We are honored you have chosen to support our cause. Your help will continue to fund the medical research necessary to advance treatments and ultimately find a cure!
A special thanks to all the volunteers, the Clement Family and Angela Costamagna who made this event possible. Your generosity in helping to find a cure for this life threatening disease one step at a time is unparalleled.
Please get ready for next year's Second Annual Frog Creek 10 Mile Run/Hike through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We look forward to trekking with you on this journey.
