A Mile For Mason


The OHF would like to give a big shout out to Sydney Bester and Haylie Smith. On April 5th, they rallied their classmates at Johnson Upper Elementary School, to walk in honor of Mason Reiter. Through their districts "Youth Making a Difference Program", and the outstanding support of their teacher Mrs. Sherwood, they raised over $140.

The kids were excited and absolutely loved walking with Mason, which they called "A Mile for Mason, We Make a Difference", giving him big "high 5's" along the way. Their walk kicks off, the "The 1st Annual Take the Challenge Walk" to be held on, Sunday, September 25, at Hines Park., in Westland, Michigan. For more information on the walk, go to www.ohf.org.

The generosity of their time, and big hearts of gold, will make a difference in the lives of all who struggle with Primary Hyperoxaluria. Kudos to all!
